ZEIT VERZÖGERT – TIME SHIFTED is a tribute to the visionary art collector and benefactor, Hovig Kurkjian, who was born in 1944 to Armenian refugees in Beirut. From the 1970s until his death in 2020, Kurkjian formed the HK-Art Collection, with a specific focus on artists of Armenian heritage. The exhibition highlights a unique narrative that traverses time and cultural landscapes of Armenian art and shows a curated selection of Armenian artworks from the notable HK-Art Collection, which compromises more than 200 items.
